Cannes - Young Creative!

AAAI along with Times of India organised the AAAI-Cannes Young Creatives Contest 2006. The theme was "prevent female foeticide". Preity Verma and Rajat Dawer of Rediffusion DY&R Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon were today adjudged as the winners. The winning team will be flying off to the Cannes Advertising Festival in June to be the official Indian representatives and to compete with about forty-five teams from all over the world in the prestigious International Young Creatives Contest. Congrats!

I simply loved it!

Its one of the brilliant piece of art direction, I have seen in recent times for "New History of the World." I love the way they've mixed two different historic events happened on the same time at diffent parts of the world. History Channel's campaign was somewhat on the same lines of using two different events in one ad, but this one is definitely different.

1789: Luis XIV Dies in the guillotine and Washington is chosen President. They shared the moment now They share the same page.

1815: Napoleon falls in waterloo and Niepce Toma takes the first photograph. They shared the moment now They share the same page

1502: The Spanish Inquisition begins and Leonardo Da Vinci studies the anatomy.

1668: Newton invents the telescope and the Ninjas appear in Japan. Via

A gud idea...gud execution!
I really like the idea of using the fitness company logo on a pin.

Intersting art execution!

This is one such idea which has been done to death. Atleast this one is still tolerable.

This is the current campaign that's rocking India for a while! A campaign for SBI debit cards. It shows how pick-pocket's life changed due to the cashless world! Soon I'll get you the TVC for the same campaign!

An ad for lasik eye surgery! Interesting isn't it?

This interesting guerilla campaign was done by Ole kleinhans & Markus Kremer from Jung von Matt, Hamburg. Copy: “Help a child escape the streets. Donate to our children’s villages in Brazil. www.nazareno.de

I really liked this simple guerilla which is so powerful and so direct. Gud job!

The activists from PETA packed themselves as meat to stress the fact against killing of animals for meat. Must me stunning when we see in real.

This is an interesting piece of guerilla which will trun heads instantly. Transparent stickers were printed with scratches on it and are placed on cars with message that reads "Call Hosanna QMI at 846 0210 or visit Payer Lebar Road for all your car grooming needs."

Agency: Crush Art Director: David Seah Copy Writer: Terence Leong

The Economist. Some of the worl'd most interesting advertising is done on this brand. This is one of them. Gud work!

McCann, which swept away most of the awards in Goa is here again with a guerilla for the jobs portal, monster.com. This sticker was pasted on cars and bikes outside offices telling the owners to upgrade their jobs and also upgrade their cars in the process.

Nice campaign done by Publicis FFM for Fitnesss Company.

An interesting guerilla done for Skin Cancer Awareness.

An intersting piece of work. The copy says "You can have the tan you want. Choose yours." Idea for a sun tanning lotion. A bus shelter poster with a built-in light dimmer which makes the model’s tan change colors.
